PHILLIES CAN’T HELP THEMSELVES. MISSING OPPORTUNITIES.
It’s just hard to understand. The Phillies walked five times in the first two innings and managed to score one run. They had runners in scoring position and loaded the bases in the second inning but couldn’t shake rookie pitcher Rubby De La Rosa.
The pitchers are doing there part to keep this team in almost every game. And suddenly, the Cardinals, Brewers and even the Braves and showing their stuff.
The All-Star break is coming and only one Phillie, Placido Polance, has distinguished himself on offense.
How much longer will the Phillies front office wait before they add a sparkplug to this lineup?
