The Wilmington Chicken

A little wit, humor, and a bit of sarcasm thrown in for good measure.

Commentary about baseball from the chicken.

PHILLIES CATCH FISH AT THEIR SEASON LOW.

The Phillies have jump out in front of division rivals while sporting the best record in baseball.

For the first time this season, Halladay, Lee, Oswalt and Hamels won in consecutive games.

It was Cliff Lee’s day. Nine innings, two hits no runs. He extended the Phillies win streak to seven games. He also hit a double to score the first run of the game. The only run he would need to win.

Howard hit his 15th homer and knocked in his 57 RBI.

The Phillies released J.C. Romero to add Vance Worley to the roster. Worley will start Saturday night in Seattle.

No time to let down the attack. Go Phils.
