After a disappointing weekend series versus the Marlins, the Phillies took it out on the Braves. Good idea.
As a fan, you hate to see the Phillies lose. But it’s going to happen. But wins mean everything right now. And a win against the Braves means the Phillies are closer to winning their fifth straight division title.
If weather permits, the Phillies will continue their assault on the Braves tonight. Two more against the Braves and then the Phils head to Milwaukee for four games against the NL Central leaders. That should tell us all we need to know going into the playoffs. This race is about over.
